Catherine Dauphin is a writer-director from Luxembourg. She has been invited to Talent Labs such as Reykjavík International Film Festival Talent Lab, Odense International Film Festival Talent Camp and Slawomir Idziak’s Film Spring Workshop.
After receiving her Bachelor in English Literature from University College of London, she earned a Master in Compared Literature from the Paris Sorbonne University. She then began her professional career in the publishing industry and co-wrote the biography of French photographer Pierre de Vallombreuse.
She directed her first short film The Art of Picture Taking in 2013 in Seoul. She then studied Film at the Sorbonne Nouvelle and worked as an independent director and camerawoman. In 2015, she was selected to be part of Luxembourg’s first creative hub, the 1535°. She is currently developing her future film projects.
